Terms of Service

These terms apply to haasitech.com and to every HaasiTech product that links here, including Ullek (ullek.haasitech.com) and Tutor (tutor.haasitech.com). They form an agreement between you and Haasini Technologies & Services (“HaasiTech”, “we”, “us”). By using our products you agree to them. Some products add their own terms for things only they do; for example, Tutor’s terms cover educators, minor students and payments. Where product terms and these terms differ, the product terms apply to that product.

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

1. Accounts

• You sign in with Google or GitHub. Keep that account secure — you’re responsible for what happens under your HaasiTech account.
• Give accurate information, and don’t sign in as someone else.
• You must be at least 13 to have your own account. Younger students may use Tutor only through their institute, with a parent or guardian’s consent.
• If you use a product on behalf of an organisation (for example an institute in Tutor), you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of what you create — articles, images, comments, lessons, messages and other material. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute it only as needed to run the products and show it to the people you share it with (for a published Ullek article, that’s everyone). The licence ends when you delete the content, apart from copies we reasonably keep for a short time in backups or where the law requires.

You’re responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to publish it. Views in articles are the authors’ own, not HaasiTech’s.

3. Acceptable use

Don’t use HaasiTech products to:

• publish anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
• harm, exploit or inappropriately contact children;
• send spam or malware, or mislead people about who you are;
• access accounts or data that aren’t yours, or probe, overload or disrupt our systems (security researchers: email us first);
• copy large parts of the products or their content with automated tools, except for normal search-engine indexing.

4. Products, previews and prices

Products marked as coming soon, preview or beta may change, have limits, or be withdrawn. Our products are currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans, the price and billing terms will be shown before you subscribe, and you won’t be charged without agreeing to them.

5. Our property

The products themselves — their software, design and the HaasiTech, Ullek and Tutor names and logos — belong to HaasiTech. You may not copy or resell them without our written permission.

6. Suspension and closing an account

You can stop using our products at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, that breaks these terms or puts others at risk; where it’s safe and lawful, we’ll tell you why.

7. Disclaimers and liability

We work to keep the products reliable, but they’re provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, HaasiTech isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 100 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

8. Changes and contact

If we change these terms we’ll update the date above; for significant changes we’ll tell you in the product or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the products after that means you accept the new terms.
